Connecting your business apps
Your online shop, customer list, accounts and spreadsheets sharing information automatically, so nobody types the same thing twice.
What is it?
Software integration means connecting two or more apps so that when information changes in one, it's updated in the others automatically. It's usually built with tools like Zapier or Make, without replacing any of your existing software.
What problem does it solve?
Most businesses use several apps that don't talk to each other, so a person copies information between them: orders into a spreadsheet, customers into a mailing list, sales into the accounts. It's slow, and every copy is a chance for a mistake.
Who is it useful for?
- โOnline shops copying orders into a spreadsheet or accounts
- โBusinesses using separate tools for sales, customers and accounts
- โAnyone who retypes the same information into more than one place
What does the automation actually do?
- โMoves information between apps automatically when something happens
- โKeeps customer, order and stock records matching everywhere
- โChecks information on the way through, and flags anything unusual
- โWorks with the software you already have
What can it connect to?
Many common online shops, email and accounting tools, Google Sheets and Excel, connected through Zapier or Make where the apps allow it.
What does it involve?
The same simple steps for every job, with no jargon and no surprises.
- 1A quick chat
You tell me what's slowing you down, then show me on a short video call. About 10 minutes, no technical knowledge needed.
- 2A fixed quote
Within 2 working days you get a fixed price, a ceiling it can never go above, and a simple picture of the idea.
- 3Deposit, then the build
Quick fixes need no deposit. Automations need a 50% deposit to start. System builds are paid per stage, before each stage begins.
- 4Built and tested
I build it and test it on a working copy, never your live system.
- 5You see it working
I show you it working on a video call. You pay the balance once you're happy, then the files and guide are yours.
What I'll need from you
- โWhich apps you use, and what information needs to move between them
- โA walk-through of how you copy it now
- โAccess to the accounts involved, set up with you
What happens after it's built?
Every automation comes with 30 days of free fixes (60 days on system builds) and a plain-English guide. After that, an optional monthly support plan covers quick fixes and genuine faults: Automation Cover from ยฃ15 a month, Bot Cover from ยฃ25 and System Cover from ยฃ45, with larger systems priced individually. I aim to reply within 2 working days. Bigger problems, or issues caused by how the system is being used, are quoted separately. Without a plan, support is ยฃ60 an hour in 30-minute blocks.

Questions people ask about this
Can any two apps be connected?
Most popular business apps can be. Some older or very specialised systems can't, and I'll tell you honestly on our call if yours is one of them.
Do I have to replace my software?
No. The point is to make the software you already use work together.
What if one of the apps changes?
Occasionally an app changes how it works and a connection needs adjusting. That's exactly what the optional support plans cover.
Who owns the Zapier or Make account?
You do. You set it up and pay for it, so the automation always belongs to you.
